![]() ![]() ![]() So before I went to sleep I turned the iPad off but plugged in. At that point I was confused but I assumed it was going through a bug where it only charges when turned off. The iPad died again and when it did and i tried to turn it back on, it showed the black screen with the empty battery that indicated it was charging. I thought the cable was finally okay so I left it plugged in for fifteen minutes then when I opened it, it was at 2% battery level and it was not charging. To my surprise, I saw the charging indicator(the iPad screen was black with only the big empty battery symbol). And then just last night I decided to try my lightning cable again because I might not be able to buy one for a few more days and I was desperate. At first I thought it was only the lightning cable again(my first one broke with normal use just weeks ago) so I used it until it died and set it aside until I could buy a new lightning cable. My iPad was plugged in and charging and I occasionally checked it for twitter updates until I checked it and it wasn't charging anymore. My iPad Air only charges when turned off. ![]()
